Vanquishing Acolyte of Melandru...
I'm having difficulty vanquishing Marga Coast because of her doing 150+ per strike. I tried aggroing her again after the form wears off but still she can cast it again mid-battle. So how do you guys kill her?
P.s. (I'm vanquishing with a Warrior primary.)

My guess is those skills should work pretty well. I'd use a combination of them, say, Aegis on the monk, Ward against Melee on an Ele, and Curses on a Necro, Defensive Anthem on a Paragon.
Or...Take Cry of Frustration and hope you interrupt the Form. (that approach is kinda dodgy though)

From my experience, it has a huge aggro. Try to pull it out of the fort. Afterwards, just make sure it is hexed with blurred vision, or reckless haste and make sure you bring SoD.
Also, maybe switch to hammer warrior for that region. Earthshaker should do a nice job.

It would, providing the Acolyte isn't enchanted with [wiki]Fleeting Stability[/wiki] - would probably need rend (Rend Enchantments, Rending Touch, etc..) or something to make sure they're not enchanted before you knock em down.

also sometimes interrupts don't work because of Pious Concentration.

The fact that the OP isn't sure how to counter melee shows he isn't ready for HM yet

Because then you have 1/8 of your party used to kill one boss, which really isn't necessary.
Anyways yeah, anti melee hexes work well, so does pain inverter. Having an ele with ward against melee would be nice too. You can also pull her, let her use avatar then run. When it wears off pull again, and let your team attack. When she goes to use it again, interrupt it. Interrupting a 1s cast skill shouldn't be too hard.

It won't be difficult if it does not take place near a fortress on a hill with multiple AoE KDs and the dervish can outrun you and owned you before you can lure it alone to your party.
Anyway I just vanquish successfully by having Blurred Vision and Reckless Haste on her.

QFT.
When I vanquished this area, I took 2 sandstorm warders with earthquake and eruption (yay for Earth Magic AoE) and a paragon (I think) and Melandru posed no problems whatsoever. She took a bit of whacking as my build relied on degen from conditions (yay for not checking which avatar was in which area) but she went down eventually with no deaths.

Any melee control owns all the dervish bosses in face.
I capped all the avatars on my new dervish no problem.
Though on HM Balth can hurt if you dont get him fast.
